Stonebwoy And Davido To Host ‘Activate Party’ At Sandbox Beach

Published

on

‘Activate Beach Party’ is coming on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the SandBox Beach and Resort in Labadi-Accra, Ghana.

Hosted by two of the continent’s biggest recording and performing artistes, Stonebwoy and Davido, the event will serve as an alternative and or a replacement to the former’s traditional event that occurs annually in December – ‘BHIM Concert’ which was cancelled due to the recent up-rise in Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.

With a paid entrance, the party promises to go into the night with the two talented artistes, Stonebwoy and Davido delivering top-notch performances of songs from their vast collections and for the first time, performing their worldwide banger ‘Activate’ together.

In addition to the musical diversity, the party will feature VIP beach huts, craft beer, DJ Music, pop up food stalls, container beach bars, festival feel, garden, and beach games, palm trees, and of course sand.

“Activate party promises to be an exciting night of entertainment for the whole country,” said Stonebwoy.

“We look forward to yet another opportunity to get together with our fans and the community to celebrate, and to offer our thanks for the incredible support we receive across the region.” He added

The party is also borne-out from the chart-topping single that was released few weeks ago.

On “Activate,” Davido and Stonebwoy join forces for the first time. Together, the duo mixes their familiar cocktail of Afrobeats, Dancehall, and Reggae influences to craft an up-tempo ode to casual flirtation.

The lighthearted nature of the track finds its roots in a spontaneous weekend trip from Nigeria to Ghana on Davido’s end, birthing the two African superstars’ latest concoction.

The event is organized by Burniton Music Group – BMG in collaboration with Davido Music Worldwide – DMW yet to be communicated as a recurring yearly seasonal event. For ticket and table reservation call: +233 50 155 0000 // +233 55 440 5894

However, in November, the award-winning Reggae/ragga & dancehall icon launched and hosted an official monthly gathering dubbed “BHIM FRIDAYS”.

The event night delivered good vibes, good food, fun and gaming, live performances, etc. It also gathered ‘music hunters’, fans, industry personalities, and other associates who had an intimate encounter with the music superstar known by birthright name as Livingstone Etse Satekla.
